Realistic human shadow

This tutorial will show you how to create a realistic human shadow using some special photoshop tips and tricks.

Step 1

Create a new Photoshop document. After that, set your object on new layer.

Step 2

Now, you must to duplicate your object layer, so choose right click on object layer from layer palettes and choose Duplicate. See the picture below!





Step 3

For Foreground color choose black, or just hit "d" key on the keyboard.

Step 4

After that press Alt+Shift+Backspace keys on the keyboard.



Step 5

Pree Ctrl+T on the keyboard, to launch the Free Transform Tool. After that, within Free Transform frame press right click and choose Distort. See the picture below!




Step 6

Then, do like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 7

Open the Gradient Editor Window, and for Name set Foreground to Background. See the picture below!



Step 8

In Layers Pallete, for shadow layer, click on Lock Transparent Pixels icon. See the picture below!




Step 9

Take the Gradient Tool (G), and do like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 10

Turn off Lock Transparent pixels icon for shadow layer.

Step 11

Choose Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.



Step 12

After that, set the options from the picture below.



Step 13

Using drag and drop technique, move your shadow layer beneath first layer. See the picture below!



Step 14

Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool (M), and draw a "squer" on the position like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 15

Choose Filter > Blur > Gussian Blur, and after that for Radius set 2 px. Then, press Ctrl+D to deselect.

Finally, our work looks like this:

Photo to Pencil Sketch

This tutorial will describes how to create photo to pencil sketch effect.

Step 1: First open any image.

Step 2: Go to Image> Adjustments> Desaturate or press Ctrl+Shift+U.

Step 3: Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J and then go to Image> Adjustments> Invert or press Ctrl+I.

Step 4: Set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Color Dodge'.

Step 5: Select the duplicated layer, go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur and apply these following setting:

Step 6: Select the duplicated layer, go to Image> Adjustments> Levels or press Ctrl+L and apply these following setting:

Step 7: Duplicate the first layer by pressing Ctrl+J and place it on the top.
Set this layer blending mode to 'Soft Light'.



Here's the final result!

Glamorous Effect

Convert your photos into a glamorous effect.

Step 1: First open any image.

Step 2: Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J. Set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Soft Light'.

Step 3: Now go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur and apply these following setting:

Step 4: Press 'D' to reset your color palette.
Go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and apply these settings:

Step 5: Merge the layers together by pressing Ctrl+E.
Now duplicate the layer, and set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Screen'.

Step 6: Go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Gradient Map and change the mode to 'Lighten'.



After click OK Gradient Map Box open, select Grayscale Mapping and click on OK.



Here's the final result!

Horror Photo Effect

Easy way to convert your photos into a Horror Photo Effect.

Step 1: First open any image.

Step 2: Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J. Go to Image> Adjustments> Desaturate or press Ctrl+Shift+U. Then go to Image> Adjustments> Invert or press Ctrl+I.

Step 3: Set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Linear Light'.

Step 4: Merge the layers together by pressing Ctrl+E.
Then duplicate the layer and go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur and apply these following setting:



Set the duplicated layer blending mode to 'Linear Light'. After this your Image looks like:

Step 5: Again merge the layers together by pressing Ctrl+E.
Now press 'D' to reset your color palette.
Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N. Go to Filter> Render> Clouds.

Step 6: Set the layer blending mode to 'Screen' and Opacity to '80%'.

Step 7: In the final step go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Gradient Map and click the Mode drop menu select 'Lighten'.

After click ok a Gradient Map Box appears, select Grayscale Mapping.

Face manipulation

This tutorial will teach you how to put any picture on human face and adjust it, to contour of face.

Step 1

Open any picture of face in photoshop.



Step 2

Choose Image > Duplicate, to duplicate that picture.

Step 3

Then choose Image > Mode > Grayscale.



Step 4

Choose Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. In Gaussian Blur Panel under Radius, set 3px and press ok. See the picture below.



Step 5

Choose File > Save As, and save that picture in (PSD) format.

Step 6

Close that picture, and go back on the first picture. It's time for another picture, the picture which we will use for tattoo. So, open any picture, select the Move Tool (V), and using drag and drop technique move that picture on the original picture (picture of face). See the picture below!



Step 7

Press Ctrl+A on the keyboard to selecte the whole picture. Then choose Filter > Distort > Displace.



Step 8

In Displace Panel under Horizontal Scale choose 12%, under Vertical scale 11%, under Displacement map: Stretch to Fit and press ok. See the picture below.



Step 9

Then, find the picture that you have saved in step 5 and open it.

Step 10

Press Ctrl+D key on the keybard to deselect the picture.

Step 11

Make hide your main layer by clicking on the "eye" icon. Look at the picture below!



Step 12

Click on the background layer (original picture) to select it, and after that select the background area of picture using Lasso Tool (L), or Magic Wand Tool (W). Look at the picture below!



Step 13

Make unhide your main layer, select it and press Backspace key on the keyboard.





Step 14

Press Ctrl+D on the keyboard to deselect the picture.

Step 15

In layers palette under Blend Mode, choose Hard Light and set Opacity to 70%. Look at the picture below!





Step 16

Select the Eraser Tool (E), and erase the area round the eyes, lip...

We're done!
